ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

A TIERED ACCOUNT SYSTEM

Alliance operates a Tiered Account System beginning with a Master Account as in the world headquarters, and Affiliate Account as in Divisional Offices, and a Site Account as in the Regional Office.

Commissions are normally paid to the Affiliate Account and are sometimes shared with the Master Account. The Site Account is used for making reservations, managing rules, filters, branding, skinning, themes, fees and all individual preferences. Every account begins with all three account types.

Companies that have multiple departments, divisions, web sites, users, and require different services from Alliance will likely have a multitude of Affiliate accounts for commissions sharing/distribution and Site Accounts for a variety of websites, customers, users, rules, filters and or fees.

Accounts have the options, if qualified, to perform some of their own services. These services include;

Phone Reservations

Customer Service for existing reservations

Booking reservations with the agency credentials (IATA, CLIA, TIDS, ARC). Commissions are paid directly to the agency by the hotel groups - reconciliations and collections performed by the agency, not Alliance. (This does not apply to merchant and net rates - except it can for switch users).

WEB SERVICES, BRANDING, FEES, RULES, FILTERS
Rules, Filters and Fees are applied at the Site Account level and include;
